Dr. Jay Steinberg
Jay Paul Steinberg, M.D. obtained his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado. He continued his education at New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University where he obtained his Masters of Fine Arts -(he has artwork in various private collections throughout the USA), and his M.D. at Loyola University-Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. He was involved in diabetes and renal transplantation research at the University of Colorado Veterans Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center, and has published multiple articles in these areas.
Dr. Steinberg completed his urological residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He is a member of the Chicago Urological Society, the Illinois State Medical Society, the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery, and a diplomat of the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Steinberg is an avid golfer and participates in many outdoor sports such as skiing hiking and biking. When he is not in the office, Dr. Steinberg enjoys creating works of art, particularly ceramic art, where he has an active studio in his home. You can even find him in the kitchen creating other works of art through some of his gourmet cooking.
