Dr. John N. DeFranco earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University and graduated cum laude. He went on to obtain his Medical degree from University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. Dr. DeFranco went on to complete his residency in both Surgery and Urology at St. Louis University Hospital. After residency, Dr. DeFranco completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. DeFranco is Board Certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in Urology as the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital and a member of the American Urologic Association, the Illinois State Urologic Society, the Chicago Urologic Society, the Illinois State Medical Society, the Chicago Medical Society and the American College of Surgeons.
