Dr. Daniel Gerber will be presenting a free men’s health webinar Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 6:00 PM CST discussing the symptoms and treatment options for BPH (also known as enlarged prostate).
Frequent urination can be a sign of an enlarged prostate, or what doctors call benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Most people are unaware of how common BPH is – it affects about 50% of men by age 60, and up to 90% of men by age 85.

Dr. Daniel Gerber was born and raised in the Chicago area, and he is thrilled to have the opportunity to return in order to provide care to Chicagoans with a wide variety of urologic conditions. Dr. Gerber obtained his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from Colgate University. He then went on to obtain his Master of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University, as well as his medical degree, where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Gerber then completed his residency in urologic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute, ranked the top training program for urology in the country.
Dr. Gerber is highly skilled in a variety of urologic procedures, and has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery, stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia (or enlarged prostate), female urology, and erectile dysfunction.
