Karolina Webb, New Director Of Clinical Research
Michael Cline, CEO of the Chicagoland Market, was pleased to make the announcement Monday that Karolina Webb, MPA, CRC, has been promoted to the position of Director of Clinical Research for the entire Chicagoland market for Solaris. Cline pointed out, “This transition will allow us to integrate Clinical Trial initiatives across the Chicagoland market and align with Solaris research efforts nationwide.”
The physicians at Associated Urological Specialists (AUS) have actively participated in medical research and clinical trials in the past, as have the other Solaris affiliates in the Chicagoland market. The announcement of a new research and clinical trials leadership role with Solaris Health formalizes the process and capabilities now available to their patients. Cline adds, “We are fortunate to have Karolina’s expertise on the Chicagoland team.”
Webb starts this new role with a team at AUS that includes Sarah Locasto, MSN, RN, CNE as the Research Nurse Navigator, Daniel Canning, Research Coordinator and De’Dra Kelly, a Research Assistant. Dr. Aaron Berger will continue to act as the Principal Investigator.
Webb notes she is excited to, “Foster innovation through collaboration and to lead research initiatives that transform ideas into impactful solutions.” She will be instrumental in helping Associated Urological Specialists coordinate clinical trials in a wide variety of areas, including those research and clinical trials started, continuing and to be announced in the future.
